Chain Breakers Recovery exists to help individuals overcome addiction and mental health struggles so they can rebuild their lives with community, compassion and care. We believe healing grows in safe spaces where people can connect, share wins, share burdens and walk out recovery together.
Chain Breakers is a Christ-centered recovery revival movement where lives are restored, strongholds are broken and freedom is found through the transforming power of Jesus Christ. We believe recovery is more than abstinence. It is the renewal of purpose, peace and possibility.
Our mission is to help people recover and build a life they do not need to escape from by offering peer support, recovery meetings, education, fellowship and community that promote healing and growth.
At Chain Breakers, we walk beside those seeking restoration, providing help, support and resources to meet recovery needs. Through our Chain Breakers 12 Steps To Freedom Program, members find healing and are set free, delivered and made whole.
Our message is hope, freedom and new life in Christ. Our promise is redemption, full restoration and abundant recovery. Every day, we see lives changed and chains broken. Transformation is not only possible, it is waiting.

Chain Breakers Recovery is a Christ-centered revival movement bringing hope, healing and deliverance into the recovery world where lives are restored, strongholds are broken and freedom is found through the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Organizational Mission
Chain Breakers Recovery Corporation exists to bring Life Change Through Broken Chains. We serve individuals, families and communities impacted by addiction, mental health challenges, trauma, homelessness and life controlling struggles by providing accessible pathways to healing, restoration and long term recovery.
Our mission reaches beyond individual transformation. We are committed to reviving communities devastated by addiction, particularly Camden, New Jersey and Kensington, Pennsylvania. Many of our team members once walked those same streets. Now they return with compassion, purpose and the message of freedom.
We provide recovery support including treatment navigation, meeting access, education and tools for sustained sobriety and emotional wellness. We serve families, children and veterans by offering safe spaces where healing and hope can grow.
We are committed to families affected by addiction, individuals experiencing homelessness and veterans facing unseen battles. Through outreach, meals, resources, recovery support and community partnerships, we work to restore dignity, belonging and hope.
Through all we do, our mission remains the same. Break chains. Restore lives. Heal communities one person at a time.
The Hearts Behind The Mission
Angelina Johnson, Founder
My name is Angelina Johnson, founder of Chain Breakers Recovery. Many knew me from my rock bottom that aired on A&E’s television series Intervention. What the world saw as my downfall was actually God’s divine intervention.
Jesus took the worst chapter of my story and rewrote it from pain into purpose and a platform to help others find the same freedom He gave me. My life is living proof that God still raises the dead and brings beauty from ashes.
Angie Pachini, Co-Leader
My name is Angie Pachini. I am a United States Navy veteran and co-leader of Chain Breakers Recovery. After years of battling my own struggles, I came to Chain Breakers and found freedom.
Christ transformed my life from surviving to thriving, anchored in grace, strength and hope. Today, I am passionate about reaching veterans and helping others overcome the same battles God delivered me from.
