We are committed to bringing the Gospel into secular recovery rooms and spaces, reaching individuals who may never walk into a church and introducing them to the transforming power of Jesus Christ. Through consistent outreach in treatment centers, sober living homes and recovery communities, we carry a message that goes beyond sobriety—it leads to salvation and true freedom.
We believe recovery is more than abstinence—it’s abundant life. We know that when you get a revelation of who God is, it will cause revolution in your life, resulting in freedom from addiction.
Our approach is to help people recover and build a life they no longer need to escape from through the tailored CB 12-Step Program, where members find freedom and are healed, set free, delivered and made whole.
Over the past 6 years, we have witnessed God move powerfully through Chain Breakers Recovery, seeing over 100 baptisms and more than 1,500 people come to salvation. We are steadfast in saving not just lives, but souls. What began as one meeting has grown into a homegrown movement of recovery and revival.
We believe God has called us to multiply that, launching new Chain Breakers meetings and ministries to reach every city, every community and beyond.

The Hearts Behind The Mission
Angelina Johnson, Executive Director
My name is Angelina Johnson, founder of Chain Breakers Recovery. Many knew me from my rock bottom that aired on A&E’s television series Intervention. What the world saw as my downfall was actually God’s divine intervention.
Jesus took the worst chapter of my story and rewrote it from pain into purpose and a platform to help others find the same freedom He gave me. My life is living proof that God still raises the dead and brings beauty from ashes.
Angie Pachini, Co-Executive Director
My name is Angie Pachini. I am a United States Navy veteran and co-leader of Chain Breakers Recovery. After years of battling my own struggles, I came to Chain Breakers and found freedom.
Christ transformed my life from surviving to thriving, anchored in grace, strength and hope. Today, I am passionate about reaching veterans and helping others overcome the same battles God delivered me from.
